One Killed, Multiple Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Waddell Rd & Sarival Ave

Surprise, AZ (October 31, 2025) – One person was killed and several others were injured following a serious two-vehicle crash in Surprise on Friday, October 31.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Waddell Road and Sarival Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a sedan overturned with heavy passenger-side damage and a red Tesla with its front bumper torn off.

According to authorities, multiple people were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Sadly, one person later succumbed to their injuries. Officials have not released details on the total number of victims or the extent of their injuries.

Witnesses described significant debris scattered across the intersection as first responders worked to assist those involved. Fluid from the wrecked sedan had leaked onto the sidewalk, creating additional hazards at the scene.

Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the crash. Police have not yet confirmed whether speed or impairment played a role in the collision.

As emergency crews cleared the site, portions of the intersection were temporarily closed to traffic but have since reopened.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a swift recovery to those injured in this tragic crash.
