Phoenix, AZ – Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash at 18th St & Greenway Pkwy

Phoenix, AZ (October 4, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash in north Phoenix on October 4 left one woman dead and another person injured.

The collision happened just after 11:00 a.m. near 18th Street and Greenway Parkway. Officers from the Phoenix Police Department arrived and found a car and a pickup truck with heavy damage.

Emergency crews transported 86-year-old Jacqueline Louise Nelson to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Nelson later died from her injuries. The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene.
