Peoria, AZ (September 15, 2025) – A deadly head-on collision in Peoria left one person dead and two others injured late Saturday night.

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers say the crash occurred just before midnight near SR 74 and Castle Hot Springs Rd. A southbound driver crossed into the westbound lane and struck an oncoming vehicle.

The southbound driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the westbound vehicle suffered injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions have not been released.
