Gilbert, AZ – Fatal Car Accident on US 60 Near Lindsay Rd

Gilbert, AZ (September 30, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash occurred early Tuesday, September 30, on U.S. 60 eastbound near Lindsay Road.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident happened around 2:25 a.m. when a white passenger car rear-ended a semi-truck hauling a fuel tanker. After the impact, the semi-truck moved to the highway shoulder, but the passenger car remained in the travel lanes.

Two additional vehicles then struck the disabled passenger car. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide aid. The driver of the white passenger car was taken to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead. Another individual sustained minor injuries during the collision and received treatment.
