Apache Jct, AZ – Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Patrol Car on U.S. 60

Apache Junction, AZ (July 29, 2025) – A woman was struck and killed by a patrol vehicle early Monday morning, July 28, along U.S. 60 in the far East Valley. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred in the eastbound lanes near Silly Mountain Road when a Hayden Police Department cruiser hit the pedestrian. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and although paramedics provided aid, the woman was later pronounced dead.
