Phoenix, AZ (November 11, 2025) – A bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Tuesday, November 11, in north Phoenix.

The collision occurred around 9 a.m. near 11th Avenue and Carefree Highway. Police said first responders arrived to find an off-duty firefighter already providing aid to the injured cyclist. Paramedics then transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
