Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at 35th Ave & Roosevelt St

Phoenix, AZ (November 3, 2025) – A woman was tragically killed and three others were injured on Sunday morning, November 2, following a suspected DUI crash involving multiple vehicles in central Phoenix.

The fatal victim had originally been reported as “unresponsive”, and law enforcement authorities then updated this information and confirmed that, unfortunately, she had succumbed to her injuries.

According to Phoenix Police, the collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of 7th Avenue and Thomas Road. Investigators say a man driving at high speed ran a red light on Thomas Rd and slammed into another vehicle traveling through a green light. That vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Trinity Celeste Brewer, was struck with significant force and overturned.

Emergency crews extricated Brewer from her car, but despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Three additional individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities report that the male driver who allegedly caused the crash showed signs of impairment. Police say charges are pending the results of the ongoing investigation. The intersection remained closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene and gathered evidence.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Trinity Brewer and our sincere wishes for recovery to those injured in this tragic incident.

DUI-Related Car Accidents in Phoenix

Drunk and impaired driving remains one of the leading causes of fatal accidents in Phoenix and across Arizona. Crashes involving suspected DUI drivers often result in devastating consequences for innocent victims and their families. According to data from the Arizona Department of Transportation, hundreds of lives are lost each year to alcohol- or drug-related crashes.

When drivers choose to operate a vehicle under the influence, their reaction time, judgment, and awareness are severely compromised. These reckless decisions can turn routine drives into fatal tragedies. Victims’ families are left grieving and struggling to handle unexpected medical and funeral costs.

A wrongful death or serious injury caused by an impaired driver can justify legal action. Personal injury and wrongful death attorneys in Phoenix help victims and their families pursue justice through civil claims. These cases can seek compensation for hospital bills, lost income, funeral expenses, and emotional suffering.

Holding impaired drivers accountable also sends a powerful message about community safety and responsibility on Arizona’s roads. Legal action not only helps families recover financially but can also contribute to preventing future tragedies by demanding accountability.

If you or a loved one has been harmed by a suspected drunk driver, it’s essential to seek legal guidance as soon as possible.
