Phoenix, AZ (October 8, 2025) – A tragic crash on Interstate 10 near 67th Avenue occurred on Sunday night, October 5, claiming the life of a young girl and leaving another child injured.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred shortly before 8 p.m. when a pickup truck driven by 21-year-old Turatsinze Gadi of Avondale struck a passenger vehicle on the west Phoenix freeway. The impact caused the passenger car to veer left, hitting a concrete median wall.
